Hey y'all! I'm Molly: a nanny/artist/wannabe interior decorator trying to spread some sweet Southern charm around the Empire State.

Here's a little bit of a back story: I was born and raised in South Carolina, and honestly never thought I'd ever leave! I love the south and everything southern; and never would have guessed that I would marry someone from the NORTH (AHH!) and move away! My husband decided to attend law school in New York, so we packed up and headed to the big city in August 2010, a couple of months after our big, beautiful wedding. It's definitely been a huge change and a big adventure, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Some fun and random facts:

 *I'm 6 ft. tall - and no I don't play basketball or volleyball. Story of my life.
{My super tall fam in front of the Brooklyn Bridge last year - my wittle baby brudder is 6' 7"!}
*I was the last person on earth that anyone would guess would get a tattoo...all the more reason to get one, right?? I'm an obsessed Beatles fan, and got a pretty little blackbird on my wrist to remind me, "Blackbird singing in the dead of night, Take these broken wings and learn to fly, All your life, You were only waiting for this moment to arise."

 *My husband was on the football team and played Center on the Offensive Line for the Wofford College Terriers...and I miss it like crazy! After years and years of living and breathing football, it was so sad for it all to come to an end in 2010 when he graduated! {I also miss his booty in those tight pants! ha!}

*Other than that cutie above, my true love is art and design, and am happiest when I can use this crazy brain of mine and create something beautiful. Painting is such a therapy for me, and nothing makes me more giddy than to design the "perfect" space!

*Our little pup, Charlie, (a year and a half old Tibetan Terrier) is my pride and joy. He is such a little rascal, but I love him so! How cute is he??

{his first day home}
*I seriously love the color pink. It's a bit unhealthy, and I'm pretty sure I should have outgrown that by now, but if I didn't have to share house with a man, you better believe there would be way more pink goin' on in here!
{my VERY pink bedroom at my parents' house}
*I've grown my hair out really long and then chopped it off twice for Locks of Love. I always felt so great right afterwards because I had done such a nice thing, but cursed myself everyday afterwards for CHOPPING OFF ALL OF MY PRETTY HAIR! I am still in the process of growing out my last chop, and I certainly will not be doing it again!
